I can report that I've just accessed http://yourbofa.com/ in Firefox (Nightly 14.0a1 (2012-04-22)) and Google Chrome (Version 20.0.1096.1 dev), respectively, on my 64-bit Ubuntu 11.10 box ; in neither case was a warning message displayed. Nor was any such warning shown when I typed «your bofa» in the Google search box in Firefox, or in the address bar (omnibox) in Google Chrome....

The right wing cwhorepratocracy has figured a few things out. They have a cadre of yappers that frequent all comments on web sites and try to blame president Obama and healthcare for everything from stories on dog bites, nurses killing mothers (with the guns they so adamantly defend) to robot stories.

The Koch scammers have at least four fake "organizations" that give false credence to their lies. It was only a matter of time before these degenerates pollute the web with their filth just as they manipulate the other media. They filled the skies and waterways with filth why not the web.

Having worked on fraud detection algorithms I could see the site getting flagged, if for no reason other than it was made to look like a real banking site and BofA reported it as fake.

Good for Google for reversing their mistake. And no, I don't trust that they would have if a stink hadn't been raised nor do I think their corporate slogan has meant anything since the IPO.

Google "Don't be evil". Hopefully this was just the result of an automated system similar to how they might handle all of the ridiculous DMCA take-down requests they receive, but their latest privacy policy changes make this move suspect. Having a site with no actual malware on it be reported to browsers as a phishing site is incredibly suspect. I don't know about you, but when I try to visit these flagged sites, the pure drama of the warnings makes me not enter them. What a beautiful way of stifling free speech.
